10 worst videogames that got unfairly good reviews

Batman: Arkham City

That’s right, ladies and gentlemen; I brought in the big guns for this one. YouTube legend videogamedunkey absolutely destroys Arkham City in this game, and I have to say, I agree with him whole heartedly. My biggest problem with the game is the really, really boring combat. As Dunkey so kindly shows us, you can win fights against hordes of opponents just by smashing triangle on your PS4 controller over and over and over again. It’s just not engaging at all.

At least for me, challenging and varied gameplay are necessary for a game to be good. If I wanted to do something easy and repetitive, I’d drive to Target, buy a bunch of Hot Pockets, and microwave them all one by one for an hour or two. There’s really not much difference in difficulty or fun between that and Arkham City anyways. At least I would expect microwaving Hot Pockets to be boring. Oh yeah, and it got a 96 on Metacritic. I couldn’t tell you how or why.
