The game which released back in 2005 was developed by Genuine Games and Interscope and published by Sierra Games for PlayStation 2 and Xbox. It featured hip-hop musician 50 Cent as its protagonist and the story revolves around his attempt to secure a revenge against a hitman who tried to kill him.

The game received mixed reviews when it was released. According to some critics, the game had a great story line, but it failed to deliver on game-play. The game had pathetic game-play mechanics, which was regarded as the prime reason of its failure. 50 Cent: Bulletproof about 1.2 million copies worldwide and the game was given a score of 47 and 50 out of 100 by Metacritic for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions respectively.
