6 incredible upcoming games nobody told you about

Sometimes games fly under the radar. It happens and there is nothing wrong with that. With the release of AAA titles such as Halo Wars 2 and Resident Evil 7 along with the impending release of the Nintendo Switch there’s a lot of good stuff to be excited for. However this article is includes the top 6 games that are good but under appreciated at the moment.

6. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands

With the release of the Nintendo Switch i’ll be honest, this game almost flew under my radar! Ghost Recon Wildlands is an upcoming open world, third-person, tactical shooter developed by Ubisoft Paris and published by Ubisoft.

According to Ubisoft this game is considered one of their biggest open world titles they have ever published with the in-game setting featuring mountains, forests, deserts and salt flats for players to venture through!

The game is set to launch on March 7th, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, if you cannot wait long enough for that then perhaps I can consider giving the open beta a shot?

5. Yooka-Laylee

Fans of Banjo-Kazooie will finally have something to sink their teeth into. A spiritual successor to Rare’s dynamic duo, Yooka-Laylee is an upcoming platformer developed by Playtonic Games (which is comprised of a group of former Rare developers I might add) and published by Team17.

Similar to the Banjo-Kazooie this colorful platformer will feature all the things that made that game so great! Including items and characters as well as some 3D platforming that is on par with games from the same genre that were released during the late 90s/early 2000s!

Yooka-Laylee is set to launch worldwide on April 11th, 2017 for Linux, Mac, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. With a Nintendo Switch version slated to launch at a later date.

4. CupHead

Any Xbox One/PC owners who enjoy the Mega-Man games I suggest you put this game on your watchlist. CupHead is an upcoming, run and gun, side-scroller with a 1930s cartoon aesthetic and is developed and published by Studio MDHR.

CupHead is about the titular player who must repay the debt he is in after losing a bet with the devil. Currently the game is slated to launch sometime in mid-2017.
