Battlefield 4 Multiplayer: DICE Considers Save Game Transfer Between Current And Next-Gen Builds

DICE general manager and vice president Karl-Magnus Troedsson has made known that there will be some kind of mechanism for the transfer of save games between the current and next-gen versions of the shooter.

The announcement comes after concerns that players will have to start their multiplayer career from scratch when they switch to next-gen consoles if such a mechanism is not in place.

Asked at E3 whether save transfer would be enabled, he replied that the studio was, “…just started having this discussion, so this is not settled yet. But we have heard that – I don’t know if this came from inside or outside of DICE – but that is being discussed.”
