Borderlands 3 on PC has launched its first week on Steam with a huge 50% off sale!
Borderlands 3 released on Steam for PC on March 13 2020, which was huge news for FPS PC gamers. The popular mayhem-based shooter launched on Playstation 4 and Xbox One on September 13 2019 – so a whole six months later, PC players now get the chance to try their hand at survival in the borderlands.
The discount for Borderlands 3 is running on Steam until March 20 2020 for its launch week. If you’ve been keen to get a copy of Borderlands 3 but didn’t want to play it on console, now’s your chance to get a cheaper version of the base game with 50% off – that’s £24.99 (approx. $30.56 USD).
If you’re interested in owning the Borderlands 3: Digital Deluxe Edition or the Borderlands 3: Super Deluxe Edition, the Steam sale extends to those versions of the game too with the 50% discount. You can get the Deluxe Edition for £32.49 (approx. $39.75 USD) and the Super Deluxe Edition for £42.29 (approx. $52.57 USD).
The Borderlands Bundle is one epic purchase that’s currently got a whopping 81% off on Steam and includes: Borderlands 3, Borderlands 2, Borderlands and tonnes of additional DLC. This Bundle includes 54 items, so it’s sure to keep you occupied during the current coronavirus outbreak!
As an avid Borderlands 3 player myself when the game first launched, I’m thinking fondly on PC gamers who will get that same excited rush as they first open up the game and then progress on to build out their character’s skills.
Borderlands 3 was massively popular upon launch and has since had two DLC instalments – one in December 2019 called ‘Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot’ and one in January 2020 called ‘Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock’.
The Borderlands 3 game description by Steam reads as:
“The original shooter-looter […] packing bazillions of guns and an all-new mayhem-fueled adventure! Blast through new worlds and enemies as one of four brand new Vault Hunters – the ultimate treasure-seeking badasses of the Borderlands, each with deep skill trees, abilities, and customization. Play solo or join with friends to take on insane enemies, score loads of loot and save your home from the most ruthless cult leaders in the galaxy.”
