Borderlands, BioShock And XCOM Collections Are Coming To Nintendo Switch

On Thursday’s Nintendo Direct, it was announced that Borderlands, BioShock and XCOM would all be making their way to the Switch console later this year.

Considering it was classed as a ‘mini’ Direct, the exciting new offerings were far from slim, and fans were left excited to find out that they’d be able to play ports of some of their favourite 2K Games titles.

All three BioShock games, which consist of BioShock Remastered, BioShock 2 Remastered and BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition will be available to play from May 29, along with BioShock: The Collection – meaning all three titles will. be available as a bundle, if you’d rather get them all at once.

On the very release day, Borderlands Legendary Collection will also be available to buy, which includes Borderlands, Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Because clearly, six different games just aren’t enough to keep anyone busy, you’ll also be able to get your hands on the full XCOM 2 Collection for your Nintendo Switch, ALSO released on May 29th. In the XCOM bundle, you’ll find all the classics, the War of the Chosen expansion and an array of DLC packs.

One of the most exciting elements players are raving about is the fact that some of their favourites from 2K Games will now be able to be played while on the go.

Which game are you most excited to come to the Nintendo Switch? Or do you personally think that the collection’s didn’t need to be converted to the console?
