Conor McGregor to play a part in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare just got a huge shot in the arm after Activision revealed today that UFC super fighter and superstar Conor McGregor will be featured in the game.

Conor is the latest to sign on for the project after Game of Thrones’  fan favorite Kit Harington was also confirmed to be playing a pivotal role in the game. It’s not clear what role Conor will be playing in the game, but it’s evident they have a big plan for the star since he’s become an iconic figure in recent years when it comes to mainstream entertainment.

The franchise has a huge task cut out this year with EA’s Battlefield 1 receiving far better reactions from the gaming community and it’s enlisting the help of pop culture icons such as Conor and Harington to infuse interest in its upcoming game.

It’ll be interesting to see what kind of role Conor plays in the game but we’re placing our bets on playing a badass, shit-talking character, just as he is in real life.
