The light bar looks pretty cool. In fact, it’s even more cooler when it changes color but some people believe it causes the battery life to drain out fast.
If you were hoping for Sony to change that in future firmware update, looks like you out of luck. This won’t happen anytime soon.
Yoshida tweeted in response to a user regarding the PS4 light bar disabled , he said “no” and revealed the LEDs in the controller does not effect the battery life that much.
Well, this comes at a bit of a disappointment but we’re sure Sony has other plans in up its sleeves which might improve the battery life of the controller in future. Thoughts?
