Fallout 4 Gets Epic New Pip-Boy Edition, Pricing Revealed

There was a lot of demand for the Pip-Boy edition of Fallout 4 when it was launched last year and the stocks went out quite fast. However, there’s good news for the fans who missed out last time as Bethesda has announced a new version of the same bundle, which is named as the Deluxe Bluetooth Edition.

The new version has an integrated screen unlike the earlier version, and can also be connected to a phone or tablet via Bluetooth. You will be able call, stream music, and check text messages in the new Pip-Boy when it is connected. When not connected to any device, the screen of the device can be used to view screens from the game, such as Status, Perks, and SPECIAL. It can also be used as an alarm clock.

According to the Bethesda store listing, most of the buttons, knobs, and dials are functional while some are decorative. It is also mentioned that the device will fit ‘most of the human arms’ and it weighs around 3/4 lbs.

The Pip-Boy will be accompanied by a charging stand which will act as a speaker when the device is plugged in. It is to be noted that the Pip Boy: Deluxe Bluetooth Edition will not include a Fallout 4 game copy.

Priced at $350, only 5000 of the Pip-Boy Deluxe Bluetooth Edition will be up for sale. Only people residing in the US, Australia, and Canada will be able to possess the new Pip-Boy, which can be pre-ordered at Bethesda’s store. Items won’t ship until November.
