Revealed through IGN, Final Fantasy Type-0 is about 80% done and will be heading to a western release.
IGN had the chance to check out Final Fantasy Type-0 and spoke with the director of the game, Hajime Tabata. Through the meeting it was revealed that the game is about 80% done and will be seeing a retail release within the west.
The game was first only available through Japan on the PlayStation Portable. Fans of the series formed a video game development on translating the entire game to English before any announcement of a western release.
Though the patch was cease and desist from Square Enix, the translation was close to completion. Now gamers and fans of the Final Fantasy series can pick the game up for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the near future.
