Activision’s press release says:

Activision will unveil brand-new gameplay from Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.

Redefining the franchise with a new setting and immersive storytelling, Infinite Warfare takes players on an epic journey through a classic, large-scale war that extends beyond the reaches of Earth for the first time in the series. The game also will be on display on the show floor in the PlayStation booth #4522

It’s a welcome piece of information for CoD fans, as they’ve not really had much to look forward to since the release of the trailers for Infinite Warfare and Battlefield 1. From the beginning, Infinite Warfare has received so much flak that there was even a petition started by fans to let the remaster be sold separately, because they’d rather pay full price for a remaster of a great game than get two games consisting of one they absolutely do not want.

But things might finally be starting to look up. Along with that, the news of Kit Harrington doing motion-capture work for the upcoming Infinite Warfare may reinvigorate some faith in fans for the title to not be a complete flop. It seems that COD may just see an end to their streak of bad media soon.

With this, the recent confirmation of a Bioshock collection and possibly being shown at E3, and the other showings of Mafia III and Civilisation VI, the gaming conference this year is looking to be quite the stand out performance. Here’s looking to E3 to see just what other surprises may lie in store for us.
