Incredible Fan made Fallout TV series is good enough to be the real deal

It’s pretty well documented that video game movie adaptations have never really worked out well. Resident Evil is a big example of this. A more recent example would be the new Warcraft movie, which actually lost money in North America.

Well how about a live action TV series, based on a video game? Better yet, why not have one based off of one of gaming’s true gems, the Fallout series? Let’s go even deeper. What if it was a fan-made project, with the quality that’ll have you thinking it’s been backed by a major studio? What if I told you that all of the above now exists?

Below is the pilot to Fallout: Revelation. As I said, it’s a fan-made, live action, Fallout TV series.

Man oh man, how great is that? This pilot says it’s 1/3, so we should be expecting more episodes to come in the future. However, it’s unknown what will become of the series after that. Perhaps the creators behind this masterpiece, Mechanical Cake TV, have made this 3-part pilot in an attempt to garner the attention of Bethesda Softworks, in hopes of them offering a partnership to continue.

Better yet, what if, and take this with a grain of salt, but what if Fallout: Revelations ends up being as consistently great as this part was, and ends up on a major television network with the support, and funding, of Bethesda? That would be incredibly amazing, and a sign to all indie companies that if your product is good enough, you never know what could happen.
