Night Trap ReVamped Kickstarter

A classic video game title that I believe will be completely amiss for most gamers these days is Night Trap. The game that originally released back in 1992 and controversial at the time may have an HD remake through a Kickstarter campaign.

Night Trap was originally released back on the Sega CD in 1992 and was certainly a different kind of game then what we were use to. Like Dragon Lair, Night Trap played more like a movie that gave gamers different options as to how the story would play out.

The story behind Night Trap is that you’re trying to protect a house full of girls during a slumber party. During the party, vampire like enemies known as Augers enter the home and with cleaver traps placed in each room, gamers can help save the girls and defeat the group of Augers.

Night Trap ReVamped will offer better digital video quality for the game and will be released on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. All the developers are asking for is $330K by September 9, 2014. Currently, the Kickstarter has raised over $5,000.
