PS4 Pre-Orders for MGS V: Ground Zeroes Fox Edition Overwhelms Sony Website

Sony has just released a pre-order of a limited edition PS4 yesterday.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Fox Edition was made available to the Japanese market, and has proven to be very popular.

The Pre-Order was made available on March 4, 2013 at 11 am Japan time. There was so much traffic on Sony’s website that the system wasn’t able to function properly.

There would be moments where consumers would attempt to place a pre-order but a message would pop up saying:

“Load is currently heavy, making it difficult to shop. We’re really sorry for the inconvenience,”

Another problem would be when the consumer gets ready to check out and a message appears saying:

“We’re very sorry and we apologize for the inconvenience, but at the moment the purchase procedure is very crowded. For this reason, in order to let customers purchase smoothly, we have to limit the use of the cash register. Once again, we thank you for your patronage at a later time.”
