The whole world might be talking nothing but Red Dead Redemption 2 right now, but that doesn’t mean your copy of Spider-Man needs to be collecting dust.
The PlayStation 4 exclusive is still one of the biggest games of 2018, and it’s the gift that keeps on giving thanks to the DLCs that will be releasing for the rest of the year.
Although the first DLC already landed not too long ago, we’ve already been given a release date for the second.
The City That Never Sleeps: Turf Wars DLC is set to release on 20th November 2018, according to the in-game menu.
The description reads: “Butt heads with Hammerhead in the new DLC, ‘The City That Never Sleeps: Turf Wars.’ Available Nov. 20 in the PlayStation Store.”
Spider-Man first released back in summer this year and it wowed fans from the get-go. Within three days of the game’s launch on 7th September 2018 over 3.3 million copes of the PlayStation 4 exclusive title have been sold, making it one of the most successful launches for pretty much any console exclusive, ever.
USA Today did the maths on that figure and it’s estimated that “with a retail price of $59.99 for the game the 3.3 million copies translates to roughly $198 million.”
The game has officially become the fastest-selling PlayStation 4 exclusive title of all time, and the record-breaking doesn’t end there.
One million copies of Spider-Man were pre-ordered by fans before the official release, breaking records for Sony yet again. This one’s especially interesting, as within the community there’s been something of a backlash against pre-ordering titles…
Seriously, it seems there really isn’t a PS4 owner out there who has yet to play this game.
The game’s first DLC, The Heist, has been out for a few weeks now. If you’ve yet to play it, check out the trailer below.
