Resident Evil 7: Biohazard announced, will be VR compatible

Capcom just announced Resident Evil 7 during Sony’s ongoing E3 press conference. The game will be compatible with PlayStation VR and will be releasing Jan 24, 2017. The official title will be Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.

The trailer is definitely creepy, showing clips and scenes of a haunted looking house being investigated in the dark. It all opens up with a phone call, and someone on the other line stating that “she’s back.” This is all presented to us with background music that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

The game looks very scary and it seems you’ll be playing it in first-person. It’s probably going to be even more terrifying playing the VR mode. Fans have been demanding a scarier Resident Evil game similar to the original few, and it looks like this might deliver.
