A small piece of information (the name of the sequel) was leaked a few months ago, but this new leak has given us a little more information. TAKEOFF Creative, a California based video game creative agency that specializes in marketing materials for gaming companies across the globe, accidentally posted these images to their website yesterday:

The images have since been taken down, but the concept advertisement art does confirm the name of the Rise of the Tomb Raider sequel as well as confirm some in-game details. From a look at the concept art, we can gather that Lara Croft will be able to wield machetes, torches, long knives, spears, and a bow and arrow. Rappelling and cover mechanics are also probably going to be featured in the game. The art also hints that Shadow of the Tomb Raider will set in the rainforest, based on the presence of vines and thunderstorms in the background of one of the drawings.

Despite the fact that the game wasn’t announced at this year’s E3, you can bet that we’ll all start hearing a lot more about the next title in the Tomb Raider series very soon.
