Sony reveals list of confirmed games for E3 2017, teases new announcements

Sony PlayStation has finally confirmed the games it’ll be showing during its E3 press conference.

Obviously these only include announced titles and there is also going to be several surprise announcements made during the show.

  • God of War
  • Spider-Man
  • Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
  • Days Gone
  • Gran Turismo Sport

It also confirmed to be partnering up with many third-part titles and expect some sort of information being dropped about these games during its press conference as well:

  • Call of Duty: WWII
  • Red Dead Redemption 2
  • Destiny 2
  • New Star Wars game by EA

Sony also teased one of the big Japanese publishers making a AAA game announcement during its press conference:

It also confirmed that the new God of War will be more narrative-driven to appeal more to European audiences:

The God of War reboot from Sony’s Santa Monica studio will be central to this – its new, more narrative-focused, open-world approach with a grizzled, bearded Kratos coming as a direct result of Sony’s new global thinking. While always popular in North America, past games in the series just didn’t do it for players elsewhere. “It’s a franchise that has historically acutely underperformed in Europe,” Ryan says. “Hack and slash games tend to not do so well in Europe, so the narrative this time around will make a big difference. European gamers love narrative games.

Expect some more games to make an appearance such as Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding, Detroit: Become Human and the new IP that Sucker Punch is working on.

All in all Sony’s  E3 press conference showcase is looking very promising already.
