Marvel’s Spider-Man was one of the best games of the year but it’s about to come to its official end as the final DLC for 2018 has been announced.
Sharing the news on Twitter, the official PlayStation Europe account tweeted: “It’s all led to this.
“Silver Lining, the final DLC chapter of Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps, launches 21st December.”

Silver Lining introduces the return of Silver Sable. According to Insomniac, she’s heading into the game to “reclaim her stolen Sable International tech.
Check out the teaser trailer above.
As with other the other chapters in the DLC, Silver Lining will also give you three new costumes. This time you’ll be able to unlock Cyborg Spider-Man, Peter Parker’s Into the Spider-Verse suit, and the Aaron Aikman Spider-Armor.
There’s even more reason to get excited though, because if you pre-order the Into the Spider-Verse movie through the PlayStation Store starting from today then you’ll get Silver Lining for free, as well as a new PlayStation theme and avatars for your PSN profile.
It’s not yet known whether Insomniac Games plans to release more DLC in the future, but considering the success of the game it seems likely. Here’s hoping!

Back to back comic book films. Finished #IntoTheSpiderVerse. WOW. Been flushed with Spiderman content since the Spiderman Ps4 exclusive, DLC’s and now this. Three different tracks of Spiderman have been launched in 18 months. All equally amazing. The animation is unreal.
