Stranger Things Season 3 Is Coming Sooner Than Expected

2019 is already shaping up pretty nicely, with a tonne of new games, shows and movies to look forward to in the coming months.

Not only is Game of Thrones coming in April, plus another series of Black Mirror, and now we’ve just found out that the third season of Stranger Things is coming earlier than expected – 4th July 2019.



The teaser trailer announces the new setting of summer 1985 by opening on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. It also includes shots of a computer interface, featuring the words: “When blue and yellow meet in the west.”

Franchise favourites Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Wolfhard, Bobby Brown, Matarazzo, McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Noah Schnapp and Sadie Sink are all set to return.

The internet is seriously excited for the return of what’s become one of Netflix’s most popular shows.

Although the second season of Stranger Things wasn’t as well-received as the first, it’s still got everyone hooked.


Not too much is known about how the third season will unfold right now, but the teaser image above looks pretty damn exciting!

Last season ended with one helluva bang, so best clear your schedule for 4th July 2019.
