Supposed Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Leak is False

Fans of the Metal Gear Solid series may have been enthusiastic when they heard of a leaked synopsis for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain video game. However, it was confirmed that the leak is false. Which is either a good or a bad thing.

If you were able to read the 3,000 word plot synopsis for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, it might have swayed our opinion on picking up the game or not. Turns out that this huge leak isn’t real but fan made. Kenichiro Imaizumi, senior producer at Kojima Productions confirmed with Gamespot that the leak is not real.

According to the post which was released on Gentlemen Gaming, the entire plot was given out that ultimately spoils may of the big events. There were major character returns as well but looks like the post is nothing more than a fan made story, a nicely done one at that.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be releasing on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 though a release date has yet to be announced.
