The Xbox One S is actually smaller than a PS4


When Microsoft announced the launch of their new console the Xbox One S earlier this year, who knew that the S would really stand for “small”.

According to Microsoft’s site, the XB1S will be “sleeker, slimmer, sharper.” Although there is no real evidence to demonstrate the technical performance of the machine so far, aside from its hardware specs, recent pictures definitely reassure gamers that it will live up to the “slimmer” part of the statement.

According to a comparison between the Xbox One S and the PS4 by inthegame Netherlands, the new console looks considerable smaller next to the PS4 – a console that is not exactly a large machine in the first place.

The picture below shows the comparison between the two machines, with the Xbox One S looking pretty slimmed down.

The Xbox One S, which will launch worldwide tomorrow, is a redesigned version of the earlier console that boasts impressive 4K Ultra-HD quality video support, High Dynamic Range capabilities, has a storage capacity up to 2TB and is 40% smaller than the original Xbox One console.
