Overwatch is one of the most popular first-person shooters on the market right now. With its fast-paced gameplay, insane levels of chaos, and plenty of game-changing plays, anyone would want to make sure they save their play of the game highlights.
Currently, there is no easy method to export your highlights outside of the game. Unless you have some sort of monitor capture software on your PC, if you are playing on the PS4/Xbox One you can use your built-in DVR to save the footage. However, there is also the option for you to use a capture card for either of the 3 consoles, still, these are not easy ways to get your highlights.
Many Overwatch players have wished that there was an in-game option, which would allow them to showcase their greatest clips through an easily accessible feature. However, that feature will be here sooner than you think.
Overwatch director, Jeff Kaplan recently confirmed on Battle.net forums that this feature will launch on all versions very soon. “[B]efore the end of the summer,” Kaplan promised in the post.
We can infer that this feature will hit at least one of the consoles before September 22nd, so keep your eyes peeled. Overwatch is out now for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
