This Web Designer’s Resume Is An Interactive Videogame Level

In this modern age, we have gotten to a point where simply having a higher education degree will no longer guarantee you a good job. No matter the sector, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to make your credentials stand out from all the rest. So, what can you do to show off your skills while also making yourself unique?

Well, one web designer thought he might as well put his skills into practice. Robby Leonardi decided to develop his resume as an interactive game level. In it, he details such things as the types of software he is proficient in, his experience and some personal info like being a huge sports fan.

To progress through the game, you “play” as a nerdy looking character who appears to be dressed as a superhero. By simply scrolling or clicking the down button on your keyboard, you can move the little guy through the game into the different section of Leonardi’s resume. There is also the option of returning to earlier segments by scrolling/clicking in the opposite direction

After a short hot-air balloon ride into the sky showing all the awards Leonardi has won, you arrive at the end of the game. Here, you can see your character do a small celebration, and there is the option to contact Leonardi should you wish to do so.

It’s a pretty clever idea, as the site goes a long way to showing off Leonardi’s capabilities as a designer and game developer, and is undoubtedly completely unique to him. Hopefully all the effort he put into this will pay off.
