CD Projekt RED has sent out a press release that goes over their video game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The basis of the press release states that the game will have 16 upcoming DLC packs however, unlike other video games and DLC packs, these will be completely free. What’s even better is that you don’t have any requirements so picking the game up from pre-order or post launch, everyone with a copy will enjoy the DLC completely free.
There is a total of 16 DLC packs set to release for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt though only a few of these packs have been detailed. The first two DLC packs will be set to release this February 25th, 2015 which includes Temerian Armour set and a new hairstyles along with beards for Geralt. From there, every two weeks a new DLC pack will be released until the 16 total DLC packs have been released.
According to CD Projekt RED is giving these DLC packs completely free as a thank you for picking up The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. We honestly have to say that this is a nice change from having to spend some extra few bucks for DLC already in the works before the game even releases.
You can pick up The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on February 24th, 2015 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
